Sometimes, critics fail to see / hear arrangements for their beauty, without putting a "perfect" label on it. Try to remember that this is a choir made up of KIDS...not college students and not professionals! Whatever happened to merely enjoying the sounds produced and the effort it took these kids to get them? You can always try singing, by yourself!

Wrong notes in altos on river, and corresponding melodic places where sops sing Do Re Mi. It SB a G dissonance/pedal, but they sing an F#, paralleling Basses. Both notes, work, but as written, you get the beautiful clash. Also, bad English at the end. It should be "I alone must LIE." (Lay is what you do to an object, Lie is the action that you the speaker DO.) Check w/ any English teacher.
